That's all :)

As some of you might know.... I'm a huge mushroom fan!!!!!! I like mushrooms a lot specially shiitake mushrooms & button mushrooms. I still remember on my 16th birthday (or is it 15th?), my sec sch clique included a huge pack of mushrooms for my birthday present LOL.

I was kinda sad that day cos the fried mushrooms I cooked for the picnic turned really soggy when we reached wcp! Should've finish eating them at home ^^ Anyway... I'm gonna share the recipe for the fried button mushroom that I found online! Really really simple and yummy esp when it's hot and crispy :)

HAIL ALL MUSHROOM LOVERS!!!!

Ingredients you'll need:
10-20 white button mushrooms/swiss brown mushrooms
1 cup flour
1/2 cup corn flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup water
2 cups bread crumbs (I used panko bread crumbs, can be found at the international section of fairprice xtra!)
(I added pepper to my bread crumbs, you can try to make it yummier in your own way ^^)

Steps (I added extra steps):
1) In a large bowl, mix (flour + corn flour + baking powder + salt). Add in the water and mix until smooth batter is formed.

2) Make sure you wash the mushrooms. I pan fried the mushrooms for awhile to drain off the excess water. (My first attempt failed because the water dripped out when I bite into the mushroom)

3) After that, dip the mushrooms into the batter and coat evenly. Allow excess batter to drip off!

4) Roll the mushrooms in a plate of bread crumbs!

5) Repeat step 3 & 4 until you're done.

Last step) FRY. Deep fry the mushrooms until golden brown and drain on paper towel. (According to the web, if you have a deep fryer.. heat it up to 365 degrees.)

It will turn out something like......

THIS! (Obviously mine didn't turn out as nice, probably cos I didn't deep fry it!)

You can dip it in any sauce you want, I chose mayo!

If still unsure... you all can check out the web!

HEHE I'm done, can you see how bored I am during the hols?! I should stop procrastinating and start doing my work already!
